Our smartphone and desktop-friendly interactive map and archiving project is designed to help people discover and explore public art across Los Angeles. The map provides real-time navigation, allowing users to get directions to each location with ease.

The Map features a curated section of historically and culturally significant murals, assembled with the help of @public_archivist and the Civic Art Baseline Inventory. In addition to murals, the map highlights galleries and museums throughout the LA area, creating a comprehensive guide to the city’s artistic landscape.
 
As a crowd-sourced initiative, we rely on volunteers, artists, and galleries to track, tag, and document public art across the region. While The Billboard Creative maintains and manages the project, its heart lies in the artists and creatives who shape Los Angeles’ unique visual identity. Their work transforms the city into a living canvas, giving it a voice that is unmistakably LA.
